Use:
To treat tobacco dependence by relieving nicotine cravings and withdrawal symptoms, thereby facilitating smoking cessation in smokers who are motivated to quit. Permanent cessation of tobacco use is the goal of treatment. Nicotine beta should preferably be used in conjunction with a behavioral support program.
Warning:
Contains xylitol, which may have a mild laxative effect. The calorie value is 2.4 kcal/g xylitol, which corresponds to 0.8 kcal per chewing gum.
Contains butylated hydroxytoluene (Ph.Eur.) (mint/fruitmint) and butylated hydroxyanisole (Ph.Eur.) (fruitmint), which may cause localized skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis), irritation of the eyes and mucous membranes.
