Adults and adolescents from 14 years of age: apply locally to the skin 3-4 times a day on the affected area and gently rub in. Depending on the size of the painful area, 2-4 g of gel is applied.
After application, it is necessary to wipe the hands with a paper napkin and then wash them if they are not a treatment site. After use, the paper towel should be thrown in the trash. The patient should wait until Voltaren Emulgel has dried before showering and bathing. The duration of treatment depends on the indication and the patient’s response to treatment.
Adolescents from 14 years of age: if the product needs to be taken for more than 7 days for pain relief or if symptoms worsen, patients or their parents are advised to consult a doctor.
Adults: for soft tissue injuries, the gel should not be used for more than 14 days without a doctor’s recommendation; however, if the condition does not improve or worsens when using the product, the patient should consult a doctor after 7 days of treatment; for painful arthrosis and soft tissue rheumatism, the doctor decides on the duration of treatment.
