The ointment is used to rub the chest and back and indirectly to inhale the volatile evaporating components. Evaporation of volatile components and thus more effective inhalation is supported by airy clothing.
• Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: rub 1 teaspoon of ointment into the skin of the chest and back 2 to 4 times a day.
• Children aged 5 to 12 years: gently rub half a teaspoon of ointment into the skin of the chest and back 2 to 3 times a day.
If symptoms persist after 7 days or if fever or worsening occurs, contact your doctor.
