WHAT IS ESKIN AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
• Treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins of the lower extremities, varicose veins of the anus.
• Treatment of phlebitis of the lower extremities.
• Prevention and treatment of postoperative and post-traumatic hematomas and edema.
Escin has anti-edematous and anti-inflammatory properties, increases vascular tone. Reduces the permeability of vascular walls. Effective in the treatment of postoperative and post-traumatic edema.
Aescin causes more rapid resorption of post-traumatic hematomas and reduces the likelihood of their occurrence in the postoperative period (especially after surgical interventions on the musculoskeletal system).
Moreover, by thickening the vascular endothelium, it improves venous-lymphatic circulation. The drug is also used for the prevention of thrombophlebitis in the postoperative period and for the treatment of venous circulation disorders of the extremities and varicose veins of the lower extremities.
