The drug is available in the form of gastro-resistant tablets. The active ingredient is bisacodyl. Dulcobis 5 mg is a local laxative that stimulates bowel movements and softens stools. The drug can also be used after surgery and for other conditions that require easier bowel movements.
Dosage:
Short-term treatment of constipation – adults (over 18 years): take 1-2 enteric-resistant tablets (5-10 mg) orally once daily at bedtime.
children and adolescents over 10 years of age: take 1-2 enteric-resistant tablets (5-10 mg), taken orally once a day, before bedtime. It is recommended to start treatment with the minimum dose and then increase it to the recommended dose to achieve regular bowel movements.
children from 4 to 10 years old: 1 gastro-resistant tablet (5 mg) orally 1 time per day before bedtime. The maximum daily dose should not be exceeded.
Children under 10 years of age with chronic and persistent constipation should be treated only under medical supervision.
The tablets are swallowed whole, without chewing, and washed down with plenty of water. Use in the evening to empty your bowels in the morning.
Preparation for diagnostic tests and surgical interventions: Adults (over 18 years of age): until complete bowel movement, use as recommended by your doctor – take 2-4 enteric-resistant tablets (10-20 mg) orally, the evening before the test, and then in the morning of the day examination, take an immediate laxative (for example, in the form of a suppository).
Children over 4 years of age: one gastro-resistant tablet (5 mg) taken in the evening, the next morning it is recommended to introduce an immediate laxative (for example, suppositories).
