Due to its corrosive action, salicylic acid is one of the most common wart treatments. Salicylic acid softens the wart by causing the surface cells infected with the human papillomavirus (HPV) to peel off. Even when used daily, this method is relatively slow. It may take several weeks to see results and two to three months for the wart to completely disappear.
Recommendations for use and dosage
In the evening before going to bed, after soaking the wart in warm water, lightly rub the wart with a soft nail file, then clean it with warm water and soap.
Open the bag on one side and across the entire width. Spread the edges, gently pull the transparent tab towards the first device, peel it off and apply it to the wart.
