Panangin tablets are a medicine that promotes the functioning of nerves, muscles, heart and circulatory system.
Used as an adjunctive treatment for chronic heart failure. It is also used as a dietary supplement for magnesium and potassium.
Dosage and method of administration
Recommended dosage:
The usual dose is 2 film-coated tablets three times daily as an adjuvant treatment for heart disease.
In severe cases, the daily dose can be increased to 3 film-coated tablets three times a day for one week. The daily dose can then be reduced to one film-coated tablet three times a day.
The maintenance dose for long-term treatment is 3×1 tablet per day.
Contraindications
The use of Panangin is contraindicated in case of allergic manifestations to the active substance and/or any of the excipients.
Higher doses may cause more frequent bowel movements.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Active Ingredients
Active ingredients: 158 mg of potassium aspartate anhydrous (in the form of 166.3 mg of potassium aspartate hemihydrate) and 140 mg of magnesium aspartate anhydrous (in the form of 175 mg of magnesium aspartate tetrahydrate).
Excipients
Core: Silicon dioxide, colloidal anhydrous, povidone, magnesium stearate, talc, corn starch, potato starch.
Shell: Macrogol 6000, Titanium dioxide (E 171), Eudragit E 100%, Talc.
