The preparation is intended for the treatment of disorders of muscle and heart activity caused by magnesium deficiency, such as muscle spasms, tetany (muscle twitches) or angina pectoris. It is also used if there is a lack of magnesium as a result of one-sided nutrition or the use of various drugs (against conception, diuretics or laxatives), alcoholism or insufficient compensation of excessive magnesium consumption (during breastfeeding or in stressful situations).
