Legalon forte Madaus is a herbal medicine made from the fruits of milk thistle (Silybum marianum). Milk thistle was already used as a medicinal plant in the Middle Ages. The ingredients protect the liver from liver toxins, have a detoxifying effect and stimulate the flow of bile. This protects the liver and allows it to regenerate again.
The medicine is used to support the treatment of chronic inflammatory liver diseases, liver cirrhosis and liver damage caused by liver toxins.
Application
Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take 1 hard capsule (milk thistle fruit extract corresponding to 324 mg silymarin (HPLC) or 420 mg silymarin (DNPH)) 3 times a day.
