Adults and children from 6 years:
Acute diarrhoea: initial dose – 2 tablets for adults and 1 tablet for children, then 1 tablet after each loose stool.
Chronic diarrhea: initial dose – 2 tablets for adults and 1 tablet for children; This starting dose should be adjusted until you have 1 to 2 normal bowel movements per day, which is usually achieved with a maintenance dose of 1 to 6 tablets (2 to 12 mg) per day.
• The maximum dose is 8 tablets per day for adults, for children it must be adjusted according to their body weight (3 tablets / 20 kg / day).
• No dose adjustment is necessary for the elderly or patients with impaired renal function.
