Belladonna has many beneficial properties. The alkaloids it contains are able to act on the nervous system, both as anesthetics and as stimulants. It intervenes in many conditions, as it can also be used as an anti-inflammatory, in case of sore throat, allergic rhinitis, conjunctivitis and other typical symptoms of the flu. Furthermore, it can be used in case of gastritis, intestinal problems and skin disorders.
Belladonna 30CH is traditionally used in homeopathy for feverish, flu-like, infectious or exanthematous manifestations, with rapid onset with sweating, facial redness and flushing. So Belladonna is a commonly used remedy in children in case of fever.
Another typical use of Belladonna in the homeopathic tradition is in case of sore throat with redness, pharyngitis and tonsillitis with pain when swallowing and intense redness of the throat.
In general it is used for local inflammation with redness, swelling, heat and acute pain. It is also used in case of sudden and pulsating headaches.
Instructions for use
In homeopathy, the intake of granules is different if they are used for chronic problems or for acute problems.
In the chronic phase it is usually recommended to take 5 granules at a time 3 times a day, always between meals if possible or at least a quarter of an hour away from the meal. In case of acute pathology they are usually taken several times during the day at close intervals, usually you can take 2 or 3 granules every hour or every two hours.
