ASS AbZ PROTECT 100 mg inhibits, among other things, the sticking and clumping of blood platelets (thrombocytes) and thereby prevents the formation of blood clots (thrombi) (platelet aggregation inhibition).
ASS AbZ PROTECT 100 mg is used:
for unstable angina pectoris (heart pain due to circulatory disorders in the coronary arteries) – as part of standard therapy
for acute myocardial infarction – as part of standard therapy
to prevent another heart attack after the first heart attack (for reinfarction prevention)
after surgery or other interventions on arterial blood vessels
to prevent temporary lack of blood flow in the brain
The medicine is not suitable for the treatment of pain conditions.
