Abra test strips are used for self -measurement of glucose in capillary (capillary) whole blood. They are intended for use with Abra gauges only .
• Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water and dry them with a clean towel.
• Remove the test strip from the package and insert it into the meter. The meter will automatically turn on.
• Close the lid of the container tightly immediately.
• Perform the puncture according to the instructions supplied with the collection device. Always use a new, sterile lancet!
• If a drop of blood forms, gently touch it with the end of the test strip. When the strip is properly filled with blood, the meter will beep.
• Read the result after 5 seconds. Depending on the choice of measuring device you have set, the result will be displayed in mg / dl or mmol / l.
• Throw away the used strip and lancet in a suitable container.
• Wash your hands with warm soapy water.
